I was on Amazon seeing the pub date for the book and to see where the book ranked (currently #126 in Aviation biographies) and noticed there is now a review on the page.

It's the kindle readers that get you the reviews. YMAA buys about 15 kindle versions for the author to distribute to their readers with the intention of getting reviews. Plus we deliver ARCs to reviewers. The first few weeks are critical to getting eyeballs.

It is book launch eve! I'm kind of excited to see what happens tomorrow, if anything. My eye is glued to the amazon charts. I was chuffed to see the book hit #31 at one point.
Sadly, my original schedule with Scalzi on Whatever calls for my tie-in article to air next week on the original publish date for the book. The original pub date was July 6. I wrote Scalzi and he said not to worry. Or didn't want to change my appearance on Whatever.
