The Gangster, The Cop, The Devil (2019)
#1
Another engaging K-actioner. Another upstart cop doggedly pursues a serial killer despite everyone denying it. Stealing the show is Ma Dong-seok (who has recently taken the more western digestible name of Don Lee) as a gangster leader who gets attacked by the serial killer and then teams up with the young cop. Ma is a big thikk solid dude and carries that weight as authentic gravitas. He’s one to watch. Again the cinematography and neon & cigarettes style are well crafted. There’s some humor in the whiny complaints like so many K-flix, and exquisitely choreographed ultravi.

LCF needed something from Amazon fast, so she got Prime, at least for a month.  Need to decide what to check out here.  This looks tops right now.

It’s a decent 2 hour ride but given LCF might need a longer binge for healing, has she seen The Expanse?

No, neither of us have.  I should review this Prime section of the board to refresh my memory of what stood out for the lot of you.

Right now what's caught my eye from a perusal of Prime's offerings is Titanic II, J-Lo's Marry Me, and the new A League of Their Own series--
