Maybe not the best ad, but the most effective ad was where the QR code floated across the screen for 30 seconds and that it was it. No voice over. No description. Just the QR begging you to get out your phone to figure out what the hell was going on.
Turns out the QR code was for a cryptocurrency exchange (I believe. Something to do with Crypto) The servers crashed because so many people logged in.

The saddest creepiest ad was Occulus VR by Meta. In the ad, animatronic animals from a failed Chuck E. Cheese type restaurant live a painful post work experience until they eventually find their restaurant is alive again inside the Metaverse. The animatronic animals can join in again by wearing the Goggles where they currently work.
