Changed from team Moderna to team Pfizer
I didn’t get no coupons. Now I have to sit for 15 mins listening to horrid CVS Muzak.

624: My mom is a mess. She fell on her face when walking in the park alone, something her caretakers and I have forbidden, and broke her glasses. I’ll try to get her new glasses. Additionally, she believes she deleted all her money and got in some sort of kerfuffle with her investment banker so I’ll have to clear that up. And then there’s the growing beehive which I’m not sure what to do about. She wants me to douse it with bug killer but that never works. I’m rather worried about her. Her thinking is getting more erratic and paranoid.
Then there’s work, of course. I’m behind in my writing and learning all the new programs I need for my upcoming position with YMAA is challenging. So hard to concentrate.
Rock Med has begged me to do several EDM shows, two at SLA this weekend and 4 around T-day but there’s just no way I can swing that. And my tolerance for patients is waiting.
I just want to go home and walk my dog.

You can do this, my friend. The strongest steel comes from the hottest fire.

That's harsh. And sounds exactly like what we went through with my mom. Unfortunately the time will come for full-time live in care (very expensive and not that good, and I think they stole some things from my mom) or assisted living.

Whenever you mention the Dogpark from now on, this is what I will envision.

625: Early morning Q3 recap meeting first thing (the band of being the only west coaster). The main publicity person took off on vacation today so it’s all me. Then I’ve got to rework this long form Kfab Maga sales pitch that I’ve been developing over the last month plus, a way to learn how these are built - annoyingly the teaching modality flipped it sideways.
Then Kung Fu. With the time change, we’re back inside wearing masks with the sliding door open and a big air filter running. I’m not that comfortable with Thursday class now because the drills require close contact and the basics class is kinda weak. Not sure that I can step out without offeneding anyone, but they’re stuck in their ways of teaching and I’m not getting much out of it. It’s better when I can just work on my own stuff.

I must have missed that episode. That's good. It's been very weak lately.

I only watch SNL for the cold open and weekend update, if I watch it at all. But I’ll probably watch most all off the next one.
626: Here’s a twist. I’m getting up early tomorrow to go to Tara’s old high school, Mt Madonna, to speak to the juniors and seniors about drug harm reduction. I did it for the four years when she was there, and at here elementary. Now they’ve hired me to do it again. I’m looking forward to seeing the campus again.
Then back home for work. I’ll be torn about what to watch - Netflix or amazon prime.

627: After two days in a row of having to get up early (when it’s still dark) and be on it, I’m going to sleep in this morning.
Then Kung Fu - need to get a good work out in because I missed last Saturday and Thursday my knees were stiff af so I couldn’t really dig in. Then I’m behind on my work - writing has been blocked up, a reading assignment has fallen behind and I need to rasp, sand and oil my staff (not a euphemism - been on the back burner since Yosemite),
Then there’s lots of fresh tv to watch.
Oh wait... it’s 5am and dark. Damn. I’m going back to sleep.

Nope
I’d hit that snooze button if it wasn’t my body’s inner alarm clock - don’t know where my snooze button is there exactly.

628: Struggling to break through this bout of writer’s block. I got one piece somewhat in order yesterday. Still have several percolating and although I know where I’m going with them, they aren’t flowing. So yeah, today is about writing again. Might try to do some laundry is I can get the washer to work once more. We have a new one coming tomorrow. Might work on that staff of mine...
The moon is shining down on me through my dew covered bedroom window. It’s pleasantly beginning my Sunday.
