591: Some work & laundry. Eager to test my upgraded web access. Then off to Iration (mediocre reggae band) at the Greek - season close for APE (and consequently RM). 80% chance of rain in Berkeley at sunset, right when I’ll be there.

597: Had a decent Kung Fu session which is always rewarding. Now battening down the hatches prepping for the atmospheric river. The funk mobile has a funky sunroof that leaks. I finally got it to close and covered in with plastic and duct tape. Leaky funky Jetta.

Started restoring one of the Academy’s jians. It has a bad split in the resin handle which will be easily fixed as soon as I get some super glue (thought I hadn’t some - did not). It’s a project I’ve been meaning to donate to the academy for a while now because it’s simple and will be a dramatic difference. The senior student there is learning jian now, and this is a nice piece, of it will be when restored.

Tara is in town with friends. Not sure when she’s stopping by or if she even is.

It was constant for all of yesterday day/night, often heavy.
In the Tudor Period, Fencing Masters were classified in the Vagrancy Laws along with Actors, Gypsys, Vagabonds, Sturdy Rogues, and the owners of performing bears.
