Does the cub have job lined up? Good luck to you and them.
They can always bunk at the Yeti Townhouse if things go south I'm sure.
As a matter of fact, my anger does keep me warm

Where did they land in SF?

Balboa & 19th. A two bedroom.
Tara does not have a job yet. That's next. Bri has a decent scholarship at Hastings. Both have saved up some cushion for the move and we're loaning them the deposit.
Looks like meeting with the new landlord won't work out for me. He wants to meet at 6 and I have to be at the Kabuki at 6:30 - it's not far but that's just too tight because I cannot be late. Still trying to sort something out.

Nice neighborhood! Richmond is a great hood. H lives at 9th and Balboa. I know one place that might be hiring, but they are in the Sunset (not far, but not walking dist). The outfit is called "Andytown". Pass that on to her to see if she is interested and if so, when I get back next week, I'll inquire.
Also, if you like, please make my cell # available to Tara and Stacy in case of emergency.

Absolutely. Once they get settled, I’m hoping to take you all out to dinner so you can get reacquainted. Tara remembers you - build a foil, build memories.

492: Today starts like my typical Wednesday - make my mom breakfast then jump into a YMAA telechat, the do her chores & grocery shopping. Then I’m off to SF. We could not coordinate a meeting with Tara’s landlord (it’s being handled via Zelle & good ol’ fashioned snail mail) but I plan to buzz her new hood for some early recon, then over to J-town to hang out for a few hours to see how it faired during the pandemic. I’m meeting my old TC accomplice Patrick for dinner then we’re off to the screener. My DoG editor saw it last night in NY and said he ‘legit loved it’ and he's an ubergeek with a high bar as a critic (off the record - on record he’s more forgiving because they are advertisers). I’m excited. Regardless of the franchise dumbness, I do love ninja flicks.

493: Big YMAA day with my trio of telemeets from 8 til 1, then writing and waiting to hear interview scheduling, then Kung Fu. Busy.

Mrs. DM is having dental pain flare up so caring for her is a priority. She has a dental appt next week.

495: Kung Fu then off to Berkeley for Bobby. I'm carpooling with a deadhead RM friend from the Cruz. We haven't decided who is driving yet.

I drove but she gave me plenty for gas and we scored staff parking like pros. I suppose yesterday doesn’t count as sheltering in place - everyone who entered the venue had to show vax proof.
496: sleep in. Then chores and work. Mostly recovery from last night.

497: YMAA, KFM, UNESCO, plus 2 gratis jobs to start, favors to friends. I’ll have a bit of a gap so I’ll start chipping on those too.
I should really be asleep. Haven’t slept well since last week.

498: Today is all about dentistry. My mom has her appt for continued work on her new updatable denture. Stacy has an emergency exam because something is causing her incredible pain, possibly a crown. So we all go to my mom’s (including Yuki) theni use my mom’s car and Stacy takes Darth to sf. Not sure how it goes after that - stacy May stay in sf or come back and we all head home depending upon what her dentist says. Meanwhile I hope to squeeze in some catch up work. I was ahead yesterday morn but due to Phoebe repairs and Stacy care, I’m behind now.

It's been rough. Shifted plans to take Stacy up personally. Her dentist is in SF - she's been with him for years and when you get a good one, you stay with them, right?
My mom's neighbor graciously offered to take her to her dental appt so we don't have to cancel.
I'm scrambling to get today and next week in place now. It's looking like Tara will be making the big move then.

I missed posting yesterday here because I was focused on wife care. There were errands - Darth maintenance, grocery box pick up, on top of that. It’s a slow road to recovery for her.
Which brings me to a milestone - day 500
Thursday’s are my heavy meeting days - all morning is about YMAA. My responsibilities are mounting there. Ive taken over the social media which is a lot (about 6 daily posts across 3 platforms - all preprogrammed but I’m doing the programming). That has affected the rest of my work there. I don’t have a lot to report at today’s meetings.
I’ve fallen behind in my other tasks - specifically UNESCO & the two gratis pieces. KFM has had a sweeps crash and our IT is at a loss to fix it. And I’m having some internet issues - my laptop is not automatically logging me in to designated sites anymore adding a step and my soon-to-be-replaced PC has lost its connection to my router and is not accepting the password. Bother.
Looking forward KF tonight although I’ve fallen behind on my daily qigong too. It has been a challenging last few days, upon reflection.
