DOOM on my desk
#16
ttt for 2021

My desk space is significantly reduced in our tiny bungalow.

All that remains of DOOM treasures on my desk are:
- The 1984 clock - 37 YEARS and still ticking!!!...or blinking rather.
- The TKD letter rack. It isn't positioned well to actually hold letters but I've tossed some hair ties on the kicking dude for Zoom meetings (now that I've cut my hair, this is useless). Plus it matches a cell phone stand that Sifu Grace Wu gave me.
- The 2014 DOOM magnet (the one with the female cyclops figure surrounded by squiggly lines - someday I'll unravel what it means).

The Kicking Guy still lives on in my shop. He is glued in place on the parts bin that is the backdrop to my tiny workspace.

I miss the Lynch Built Plywood Expanse workbench. I miss it every day.
In the Tudor Period, Fencing Masters were classified in the Vagrancy Laws along with Actors, Gypsys, Vagabonds, Sturdy Rogues, and the owners of performing bears.

All hail the workbench.
As a matter of fact, my anger does keep me warm

I just reset my 1984 clock - 38 years now and getting a little fussy about resets.

My hair is long enough now to require hair ties again.

I've added my cell phone stand that has KB's sticker on it. Grace's cell phone stand is now my CD stand for my antique boom box when I want to play my antique CDs (5 crates of them).

I'll add that I also have a vintage AFS saber letter opener, which I'll credit to the D00Maestro. There's also a print out of a pic that Greg took of me and my family on our recent backpacking trip. I used that to test my new printer some time back and haven't quite figured out what to do with it, so it lays on one of my desk shelves. It's not on photo paper because my new printer rejects my huge sheaf of photo paper and insists on a certain HP brand despite saying it'll take any photo paper. Obstinant little machine.

Reset that 1984 clock again. It was difficult as the reset buttons are getting sticky. But I got it to work. Such a treasure. 38 years grateful to ED for scoring this for me.
