So what next? It's like over a month until Loki, right?
Am I damned to Kung Fu and Attack it, Lightning! for May? Because that would be ruff...

All the reviews seemed to point that this was the episode everyone was waiting for, where the show really kicked in to gear. I don't think so. It's still the slow burn. It's still the reluctant Mackie debating with himself about picking up the shield. Plus there are a lot of montages (And yes, I sing the "Montage" song from Team America: World Police every time I see one) And is it becoming a cliche or de rigueur to talk about race in our TV shows. Looking at the news, obviously we need to have some discussion but when it pops up in the fictional realm it comes across as heavy handed (Spoken a white guy, I know. I probably need more lessons) Although the echoes to unlawful medical experiments on African-American men was particularly pointed.
I expected a bigger ending than what occurred. Also, I want some Wakandan Women we are familiar with rather than the ones we have trotted out. it seems like a cheat. I did like the cameo, though.
Get ready for a big cliff hanger that leads to season 2.

Luved the Falcon & Winter Soldier finale. It addressed race & veterans with some intriguing messages - complicated. Enjoyed it overall. Won me over in the end.
These arcs of the MCU are so much about Emily Vancamp. She’s parlayed her role in Revenge into a Marvel character. Luv her.

3 ep in. I’m a bit lost and I don’t know which are the pertinent movies from the MU I missed. Who is Sharon? What is the blip? Who is Zemo? I’m just along for the ride at this point.

Zemo would be good as Jonsi in a Sigur Ros biopic.

A character that needs her own series.

Right. Consider your MCU card officially revoked. It's over to the DCEU for the likes of you.

Yeah, thatguy is a little behind. Let's restart: There's this film called Iron Man.....
It's very kind of DM to think there is such a thing as the DCEU
As for TFandTWS, it still feels like it's just setup for the movie. Although there was a fight at the end, it didn't seem like the climactic epic battle to cap off the season. Plus, Sam was off flying away from the main battle. And curse Deadpool for putting SuperHero landing in my head because that's all I can say whenever a Super Hero does one.
Lots of preaching. Although, I do like Bucky's response after Sam passes him by.
I picked who the Power Broker. Wish we had more of the cameo lady but I hear she might be in Black Widow as well. ( As I read it, she appears in Black Widow which was supposed to come out before TF&TWS)
The whole series felt life the first two acts of a Marvel Movie and I'm still waiting on Act Three.

OK, I think I missed Civil War. I figured The Blip was referring to the end of Infinity War, (as that also was heavily discussed in WandaVision), but I'm vague on the ending of Infinity War. I couldn't remember who all survived and who didn't. Also, I didn't remember the 5-year thing.
Re: Sharon, I watched a "who is sharon" video on Youtube which delved into her comicbook story-line...wow. It's like the comic books are a parallel marvel universe to the movie/tv franchise. Which one is the alternate history?
I still have one more ep to go in TF&TWS. Funny thing that keeps happening: I'm watching via Disney+ on the AppleTV. When the end-credits for an ep appears, I scrub through it (to see if there's any post-credit goings-on) and then jump to the next episode. Something is wrong here, because when the next episode starts, it's not in English. It took me about 5 min into the swearing in of new-cap to figure out that he wasn't a portuguese double-agent.
Ep 5 came up in spanish.
Weird.

This will all make sense once Multi Lingual gets introduced.

Given the state of our country, preach on, brotha. Maybe some MCU fans might listen. Bucky's comment was great - it grounded the Falcon.
This is really the sequel to one story arc of Endgame.

Spider-Man: Far from Home established The Blip best. It was supposed to be called The Snap but S-M:FfH beat it out in the fandom vernacular.

Yep, missed that one, too.

It all makes so much sense now! And why isn't the Yeti onboard for this? Dallas Musson was the showrunner for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier and will be writing the upcoming Captain America 4.
The Hollywood Reporter wrote Wrote:Musson was the credited writer of what is considered among the strongest of the show's installments, episode 5. He is a rising scribe whose previous credit was on Iron Sky: The Coming Race, an action thriller centered on Nazis on the moon. He is repped by Verve and Industry.
