If you want originality, why do you watch Hollywood movies? They are investment properties. They go with tried and true story formulae to maximize shareholder ROI. They are not there to make *art*. They are not even there to make entertainment. They are there to make *money* for the investors.

I saw Belushi live at Flint Center no less. It was billed as SNL but only Belushi, Franken & Davis appeared. And they didn't really have it together. It felt like they were just winging it.
