Sheltering in Place
For now. Shots are forever!
As a matter of fact, my anger does keep me warm

I should clarify - last puppy shots. And chip too.

180: I went to the bank to deposit some cash, collect on my EDD and cash in on two old bonds I had, 1 for $50 and another for $100 - got $500+ for them. My dad gave them to me as gifts when I was a teen and they've sat in my home safe until now.

I thought I didn't have much today and then the transcripts came in for last week's interviews, so I put those together into the first of hopefully a few articles for Den. I just need to give it a final polish tomorrow, after sleeping on it.

Today I was sad because there were no more figs on the tree.

Today I picked up some new glasses, did some basic chores, then got stabbed by children. Made a non-routine stop at Harriett’s because I forgot to take leftovers with me this morning. Just finished the last of the Crack Soup, not time for a little Night Cheese.

181: final polish on a Den piece, then off to TC for a drive by and the.my mom’s. My mom called over the weekend to tell me that the battery in her car needs replacing but we just did that about a year and a half ago.

Ooh, I did a battery replacement for tQ this weekend. Lost the nut for the battery hold-down. Turned a ten minute job into a three hour job.

Went out about 10 am and there was a rat on the patio. It hid behind some plants by the corner of the house, where I killed it with a shovel. Only about 3-4 inches long, so a young and reckless one. Is that an omen for better days or worse days to come?

First blood for this shovel. Killed two gophers with my last one when we lived on 19th street.

182: Deal with my mom’s car, groceries, hearing aids, chores & maybe pump out a news piece for Den and some interview questions for a KFM piece.

183: A new weekly telemeeting with YMAA & a first-time instructor meeting (in person socially distanced tea) for our Kung Fu academy - that has me a bit worried actually. Not sure what they might announce. Hope it’s good but it’s 2020...
