I saw a bunch of lighting strikes from the Lair. They were all over in the Central Valley. To far away to hear any thunder. But ooh lightning. Which is a bad thing to have here where everything is ready to burn.

North chamber. Stacy & Yuki just returned from a puppy playdate. I've been writing in weird fire smoke light.

On monastery beach contemplating. Seals playing in the surf. A bikini model getting pix taken. Looking at the smoke over the Cruz slowly grow worse.

Hanging in the empty smoking section (ironic for the time) of the Hyatt regency. It’s shady and I just took Yuki for his constitutional walkie. Stacy isn’t feeling well - travel + smoke toxins = headache. 

Made a market run . Huge lines at Whole Foods & TJs so did a quick drive by into raleys. Got me some nite cheese. Whiskey nite cheddar. 

Tara & Bri came by earlier with Bottles (Bri’s pup). The pups are buds from Stacy’s prior trip. Both peed in our room.

north chamber flipping back and forth between various job tasks. stacy is listening to news. yuki is probably napping somewhere.

this was a frustrating day, not just because of the air but also a lot of niggling issues with work.

i think i'm going to cut my nails, take a bath, and then eat, next.

Just finished another ep of Warrior. Think I'll take Yuki for a walk.

Nursing Yuki. We think he got stung by a bee. His left paw shows all the symptoms and there are a ton of bees that frequent the tiny flowers in the grass in our yard.

Dog park time. It’s the only time I talk to other humans outside my circle now. Social time for Yuki & me
