Burt plays Vic, an aging movie star who gets invited to a film festival that's really just a local gathering at a bar. It's his swan song, and charmingly sweet. He has scenes with his younger self in Smokey and the Bandit, Deliverance and a few other films. It's thinly disguised but it works well enough. It really should've been his last but IMDB tells me he had like a half dozen more, with the last one on the way this year. Ariel Winter plays his modern young driver quite well, and a lot takes place in Knoxville, where I've heard so much about because the other Tiger Claw warehouse is there. Ariel and the rest of the cast are all TV stars, in shows I don't know, which also worked quite well. Chevy Chase has a good cameo. Stacy thought old Burt reminded her of cf, which in one sense is quite a compliment because it's Burt, but in another sense, Burt is hamming up playing old. I'd go with the former here, cf. We both enjoyed it...even without swordfights.

Now that I know Ariel is in it, I'll have to check it out.

I met Burt back when I worked on Boogie Nights as his body double. We were only on set a couple of times together, when the director needed to discuss continuity issues. Anyway, I'd heard he could be rather cold and brusque, but he seemed a nice enough chap. Not certain if the years had mellowed him or whether he'd always been like that.
BTW, regardless of what he's claimed, I did all of his stunts in that movie.
