Be Still my beating heart. No, I liked walking to the hotel to upload. I really did.

Sony NX5U, it's broadcast ready.

The cost of a line to South Hall was exorbitant. They quoted us a few hundred last year. It's because it's a union op, so to lay the line and get it all set up is a union thing. I think it's all there already and they just have to flick a damn switch.

If you have a work around, I'm all for it.

It's looking like I *will* be able to attend and assist that weekend. Just waiting confirmation of the proposed schedule, and pending meeting space availability on the proposed dates in the proposed cities.

But it's looking good.

I may be able to swing a Verizon data card from work. DM, can work out some kind of corporate sponsorship, get our name up on the KMF site with a "up to the minute video brought to you by stuffit.com" next to the video posts? Maybe get a company banner up somewhere at the tournament? It would relieve my guilt for borrowing someone's data card for the weekend and pushing a lot of data through it...

I may have a wireless card myself -- working on getting my boss to spring for one for the rest of my travels this year.

We're actually looking for corporate sponsors. We're putting together a media package to solicit them. We'd be happy to hyperlink to your company in exchange for your services and hardware, as well as a listing in the program and other promo materials. I'm sure I can swing a banner there too. Let's talk.

TQ - glad to have you on board too! Maybe you can lead everyone in a rousing Albatross drinking game at the afterparty.

Send me your media kit. I'll have my people contact your people. (Wow! I never got to say that before...)

Would it possible to have the after-party the next day? For brunch, maybe. Could I bring the dogs?

tg: email me your official work address. I mentioned it to Gigi and she thought it was a fine idea. She didn't understand what I was talking about, but she thought it was fine.

We're debating doing seminars on Sunday.

We'll be holding a special sneak screening of The Karate Kid on June 3 at 7PM at Santana Row for volunteers. Our volunteer meeting will happen directly after the screening. Shhh, that's not been announced yet. It's a secret.

And LB is in. So that's 4 - 4 live DOOM bros and tQ who we hold in special DOOM regard. ED? Want to be one of Greg's webitches?

Hey, we might be able to make that. Will it be more fun than the Chinese feast?

Who are doc victims for the day? Do you know yet? Is Helen Liang going to be Shark City hostess again?

Sure - doesn't look like I'll have any prior commitments.

Count me in!

I'll add you to our roster, ED.

As for Helen, she called last week and asked if her role was going to be more or less the same this year. We said 'yes'.

The Laundryworks reunion has been bumped to Sunday, June 13th, so I'm free for TCKFMCII all day.
