E3 was a bit of a filler ep. A pleaser station akin to Risa. It did resolve Beckett’s relationship with Jennifer the andorian, which was dangling. And Bradford finally gets some props.

E4 had a lot of quick call backs for the series. Mariner helps an old Klingon friend regain his honor, which was a funny dive into Klingon culture, like Targ and bloodworm farming. Was buying Boim’s transition to bravery with his scraggly beard growing attempt.

Also a deep dive into Klowahkan culture with a Dr Migleemo, the counselor psychiatrist Birdman having issues. He’s my least favorite. That storyline was too predictable.

E5 was another mediocre ep although we finally see the much maligned Starbase 80. Starfleet zombies were kinda funny and it’s nice to see the cetaceans again. Still doesn’t feel like a finale season…

One more thing
A major character named Gene.
Not sure he was a cool Gene tho. Kind of a lame one.

There are cool Gene characters? Go figure.
As a matter of fact, my anger does keep me warm

Actually the Gene in ST:LD was kind of an asshole. He was part of the obvious mcguffin.

But regarding cool Genes, there’s the Continental one who was very cool http://www.brotherhoodofdoom.com/doomFor...0#pid65360

A demigod. A callback to Zeus. A funny idea, although quite predictable resolution to the Cubes & Orbs negotiation.

Another ep that doesn't feel like it's leading up to a finale.

The Dr. T'ana stuff was gold tho. She's still my fav character. They need to introduce a Caitian to SNW.

Girls undercover mission! Mariner, T’lyn & Tendi go undercover to recover an object left by purple Enterprise (dimensional fissure to the purple-verse) and its Data’s Head. They get sent because it’s taquito night and none of the senior officers want to miss that. It a planet with a time distortion so every minute on the Cerritos is like a week there (TNG plot recall) and Boimler spills his michelada on the transporter console trapping the away team there for a year. Very funny ep. And two more lower deckers make the bridge, lining up the finale.

An Upper Decks ep. Funny but I missed the usual suspects.

Only two eps left. I will sorely miss this show.

And we’re done. So sad to see this end. It has been my favorite ST series of all.

There was some closure for several of the season’s story arcs, and a heartfelt goodby speech by Mariner about what it all means. The door is wide open for another season or a spin off. It didn’t blow me away as series finales go, but it was fitting. I sincerely hope these characters find future roles in The franchise.

LLAP Lower Decks!
