I did get an update, by the way. And even though I'm not supposed to say anything-- Hmmm, there's a Jeopardy van parked out front and someone with wire cutters is headed for the internet lines coming into the house. So I'll be quick. Games were played, and LCF got into the mix. She--
I made a major blunder here. I was trying to give the impression my internet was cut off. But I used an "--" to indicate it. But in hindsight, if it was cut off, I wouldn't have the prescience to type "--" just before it happened.

My apologies for the mistake and deception.
To make up for it, I'll just suggest that you reserve March 10, 7 pm, for some TV viewing pleasure. Though that date is somewhat tentative at this point.

The best way to remember it -- and forgive me for being so cruel -- is day 360.

CF for the Troll win!
After you slip the knife in, it's best to give the knife a slight twist to make sure the wound doesn't close easily.

It's interesting to hear about the little glitches they run into as they brave the post-Alex world.
For instance, in one game, a contestant gave the correct answer but failed to phrase it as a question. The guest host quickly accepted it and was about to proceed when the judges called foul. The guest host should have given the contestant a moment to correct the phrasing, or even offer a reminder if in the early round. So the game was halted while the judges and guest host debated how to proceed. They decided to turn that clue back over and replace it with another clue, and essentially just have a do-over letting anyone ring in.
Not certain when this particular game occurred, but I don't think it's the one slated for broadcast on day 360 (wink, wink).
But if you watch closely on whatever day it airs, you might be able to detect this tiny glitch. Because while the judges and guest host were sorting things out, one contestant changed from a red to a blue dress, another with long hair shaved his head bald, and the third changed her lipstick from pink to purple. Oh, and they all switched positions.
See if you can detect it (I challenge, while wearing a Jeopardy cap because I'm smart).

Yes, she got home okay. We're sort of quarantining together -- too complicated to do otherwise. She's scheduled locally to get a covid test Monday, just to be sure she didn't bring something back.

Okay, Wednesday (March 10) is the big day that LCF appears on Jeopardy.
I tried to post a reminder on facebook, and maybe it's out there, but when I posted, facebook said there was a problem and that it was working on it. It's almost like facebook doesn't care, or maybe it wants me to slip it a twenty first.

Awesome. I was all set to congratulate her on doing a solid job, but too bad about that Navy Guy.
Excellent work LCF. Can't wait to see how you do tomorrow.
