It's 'barrage of emails & texts' time. It's so much trickier working remotely because I don't know wtf is going on with a lot of stuff. I only have limited access to the master files online.
I've lost two Dragon Crew members due to family emergencies, and one got poached as a judge, but I gained one. Still feeling confident about the crew numbers...

Been over a half dozen attention-diverting calls and emails from G2, and maybe a dozen texts & emails from assorted players.
Stacy said I seem unusually calm for a few days out, that usually I'm a much more stressed out mess. The remote work helps.

I suspect my Darth Chad and the Dragon Crewpeeps that I'm lending him will be the only cosplayers. Maybe a competitor too. I think there are 5 competitors at this time - 3 wushu kids and 2 traditional adults.
I'm still amused that Master Grace asked about getting Jedi robes. She says she wants a lightsaber too.
Kung Fu cosplay definitely.

Maybe next year. This is exchange is the stepping stone to where we might stage a lightsaber sparring division in the future. If we can get enough contestants, we could make it happen.
No one has done a forms competition yet. It’s unprecedented.

I emailed her with a few items. She didn’t respond. Jonny was supposed to email me the floor plan but he didn’t. No worries. I figure they’re up to their eyeballs in it, and I can sort the rest face2face.
Got double slammed by texts because one of the dogs in Yuki’s pack fell ill. Many remedies and resources were shared, along with well wishes amounting to over 60 texts. Almost as much as the Greg question texts - I’m just letting AI answer those now.
I’m packed, locked & loaded. Now to chill for a bit. Then tomorrow morn, bright and early, I insert.
