Thanks brothers!

I’m just watching my sitonmyfacebook HBD wishes roll in - it’s like a virtual party. Hoping to clear 400 this year.

So far so good. Got new hiking boots & socks, some cash & a bottle of Old Potrero. We’re headed out for a beach picnic, then a massage, then takeout dinner and some video.

My account of last year’s birthday is trippy to read now, just like a lot of the year-old posts here.

The picnic was at Bean Hollow and we did some tidepooling afterwards but the tide was coming in and we did t see anything (but Yuki loved climbing the rocks). It started to get busy so we bailed.

Still oiled from the massage. I thought it might do me good to let it sink in for a night.

We got Indian food from Royal Tai and watched Fitoor, which I’ll review later. Yummy spicy cheese in the mutter paneer, although a bit too salty (my birthday cheese - too stuffed to have any more now). They gave us way too much biriyani and forgot the pickles.

Had a nice 2 hour chat with my daughter.

Crossed 400+ HBDs on sitonmyfacebook.

I was going to crack that Old Potrero but I’m thinking I’ll have some more of the picnic merlot instead now.

Didn’t turn on the laptop all day.

It was a very pleasant birthday.

So much older. Enjoy your day, young man.
As a matter of fact, my anger does keep me warm

Have a good day despite your advanced age. Although I think you're a year younger than I am.

Thx. It was a 2 day celebration

Yesterday Tara and I got a private tour of CHSA then kicked about Chinatown where we bought tea and I treated myself to a replica of telescopic Chinese pipe, then we nosed around City Lights. It was a lovely two days and three days not looking at my puter, just my iPhone s few times to get directions

We ate at Sessions for dinner and RX for brunch, both had outdoor dining tables that were dog friendly. Did a nice five mile hike up to inspiration point, then to the dog park, the lake and the chapel - a 5 mile loop around the golf course.

We stopped in downtown Half Moon Bay for iced tea and window shopping. I got Yuki some cool treats at the feed store which had a lot of dog stuff I’d not seen before.

Then home for dinner - Mexican takeout - and some tv and reading.

When the pandemic began, we spent it at the presidio & Chinatown. Now hopefully this will bookend that.

Just went through and liked all the 400+ FB birthday wishes. Such an odd assortment of strangers, martial artists and music peeps, plus a few normal friends (not many). A few called me Grandmaster which was generous. A lot called me Master. This was my fav...
