Cleaning up the rabbit hutch a bit (the cats made a protest mess by crapping all outside their litterbox). Back home for lunch with Tara & Bri. Then taking Yuki to the vet to check on his allergies and follow up on that seizure. Meanwhile working off my laptop now, squeezing the days work between tasks (I have the weekend too, so it's not crunchy).

Seabreeze cafe with Greg. He’ll prolly want to talk about penis.
A bit of work that didn’t get done yesterday - some graphic design. Stacy has a home client so I’ll do it then. Take Yuki out to the park. Pretty chill Saturday…

Breakfast at Seabreeze followed by a walk around the neighborhood with Dm, Mrs. DM, and DM Dog. Currently hiding in the ballroom doing a little cutting before I head for another walk.

I'm going to try and get a hike in before the rain starts. Jake's for lunch with Greg Chow. Pack up for tomorrow's trip home. Look around for my sanity.

And how did that hike work out for you? Been pouring here all morning.
Say ‘hi’ to the other GC from me!
Today I’m doing laundry & groceries. Maybe some online banking. Maybe some writing. Mostly chillin & watching the rain fall.

I was about a half mile from the end when I turned back. Since my coefficient of friction is very close to zero, I wanted to get off the muddy trail without injury.

Good call. Given your recent fall probability, we’ll, one day you won’t get up…

Went to Costco yesterday (not too crowded) and got a new phone (T-Mobile kiosk), some socks and a new coat. My phone (1st gen iPhone SE) was on it's last legs; the camera wouldn't focus any more, the battery needed charging every day, and some apps were getting glitchy. Got the 3rd gen SE. I couldn't bluetooth my old one with my car audio, but now I can. I think the bluetooth might compress the sound a bit; it seems punchier compared to the headphone cord connection.
Also went to the Kia dealership to look into a new car. Ours is 13 years old and needs a couple of grand of repairs, and I'm afraid we might be starting down the slippery repair slope. Thinking it might be good to get one before tariffs hit.

If such comes to pass, it'll decimate the martial arts industry. All the gear is imported, mostly from PRC, and we're still recovering from massive manufacturer closures from the pandemic. Fortunately YMAA prints/publishes domestically in the USA & Europe.
We've considered the new car option too. Darth is feeling the wear & tear, but we probably won't get it together quick enough.

Head straight home, work, take Yuki to the beach again, walk to the Vets Hall for China Cats, stumble home tomorrow.
Happy New Year D00Mbros!
