In news to no one, I am sick of cleaning up this house and wish I were back in the Lair. I'll be here through Wednesday but I come back on Monday for funeral week.
On the flip side, I do spend a lot of time thinking this will be the last period I am in this area.
As a matter of fact, my anger does keep me warm

On the flip side of the flip side, I want the kitchen floor to be less sticky. Or even not sticky at all.

You are not a helper.
But, yes. Burn like a rocket.

Oh, hadn't thought about that. I guess we'll have to go to Jakes without you in future. Or maybe 7 Star...

I'm sure it's leftover soda or milk or whatever you poured on your mom's head so long ago. Probably not flammable.

For some reason I remembered that as water. Not as dramatic.

It wasn't syrup.
No, he saves the syrup for his D00MBroz.

To set the record straight, it was Root Beer. The cops were called.

Me, too, but I thought it was Pepsi, The Choice of The New Generation.

I spent most of Tuesday pulling photos from albums to make a memorial slide show. I only went through a small fraction of the albums down in the basement.
I'm going to spend the rest of the day cleaning in anticipation of the Washington family arrival on Monday. Zach and his family arrive on Tuesday.
My sisters have agreed to pay for my cousins hotel stay while they are here, which is puzzling to me. Should I ask them to pay for my hotel when I go to Boston in the fall for one of their children's wedding? Plus, Zachary just told us he was coming. Didn't ask for airfare. Didn't ask for us to put him up. He made all his own arrangements. And he rented a car for transportation.

We all remember the cops. That's what makes the story timeless.
I always think it's milk because that would be more poetic.

I should post the pictures of the cop cars outside the house.
The cops were very polite. My father and I were very polite. One of us was not. All hail the white patriarchy.
Now, for bonus points. Can anyone remember what led to the Root Beer incident?

No need. We've seen those pix. They are etched into our retinas.

It just occurred to me that this Wednesday is the Full Snow Moon. Sounds like a gathering...
