My assistants have it pretty good. Mostly they work when I'm not in the space, so minimal oversight. I can't be bothered to monitor them closely, besides I know it's just a student job so only some of them will be really devoted. As long as work gets done and I get no complaints then it's all good.

You don't make them wear funny hats? No French maid costumes? No raspberry berets? Not even any branding?
Such a wasted opportunity.
One meeting down, one to go. Then work. There's always work. So much feckin work...

This morning will be Kung Fu, the only session I’ve had in weeks and it’ll be weeks until I get back. Stacy plans to visit her mom, whose health is declining. I’m not sure how the rest of the day might go.

Shop day today, Hench should be back (he was out sick last Saturday) then the M-Team Awards potluck/Season Kick-Off. Usually great food, but I prefer not to socialize with the parents.

Change of plans. We are Monterey bound to visit Stacy’s mom (not to be confused with that song in any way).

Many tree branches were cut. Burrs were collected from socks to shorts. Personal burning man is coming.

Darth (my CRV) is covered in dust from E lot at Shoreline. It looks like playa dust. I need to wash it off.
Happy Star Trek Day for all who celebrate! LL&P!
Today is yoga. Stacy had clients all day so I’ll work. Need to get ahead because this week and next will be full of stuff so I won’t have as much time as usual.

The M-Team potluck was good. I have to acknowledge that we've built a good community.
Today is the delayed Burritoversary. We decided to walk from one end of the Mission to the other. We'll start at Zeitgeist and then head south. Might visit Bernal Cutlery if they are open.

It was a good day. We blundered into a Drag Brunch at Zeitgeist, had a blast and a little too much of the day-drink. Pancho Villa provided us with burritos and place to reminisce. Strolled the Mission, dropped off knives at Bernal Cutlery for sharpening, noted what businesses were still there and remembered what was gone. Coffee at Ritual, followed by Sicilian Gelato. Sunny, pleasantly warm day. Now back at H's fog-ensconced nest.

Sounds lovely
Is there still such a thing as the Mission book crawl? Or have all those used bookstores now trendy cocktail lounges?
I’m spending the remainder of Star Trek day watching the final episodes of various series over a big bowl of homemade nachos.

Ugg, Monday. 2 hour telemeet in an hour. Then working all day.
My back seized up after the weekend's workouts, right in between my left shoulder blade and spine. I was on my infrared heating pad last night whilst watching ST. Just took some herbal antinflammatories. Might dive into some harder Rx at lunch if I can't loosen it up.
