Post Thanksgiving Conjunction

...told them to respond here. We'll see how long that takes.

Come on now, PPFY. ED called the assembly at 6PM. You could catch one flick, have some pizza and a shot and be home in bed 11. Don't be so boneless. Tongue

...it looks really good, but I didn't get it because ED's promise to NF it. Sadly, both Robogeisha and Samurai Princess are unavailable as of now (at least according to my J-town vendor, who is wise in the ways of such things). He expects Robogeisha very soon but is unsure about Samurai Princess. In lieu of what is surely fine DOOMDVDs, I picked up the new Miike, Yatterman, which I think we've discussed here somewhere. It promises to be a lot like Zebraman, only with a bigger budget. It was #1 in Japan for a spell earlier this year. I doubt it'll be as over the top as TGP, but it's fresh Miike and my contribution to the upcoming DOOM gathering.

I've been debating, but it's a bit of a drive for me. Was I hallucinating? I thought I saw some posts from KB. If you can convince him to go, I'll volunteer to drive us...

Oh, I believe Samurai Princess can be procured from the internet's Barbary Coast. Arrr!

If you can get it up to Fremont, I'd be happy to drive the rest of the way. I live right off 880, just after the Dumbarton exit. Let me know.

I believe I can make it.

I saw Tokyo Gore Police a few weeks ago. I didn't mean to. I mean, how was I to know? But I can certainly watch it again.

While I was watching it, Lady Cranefly seemed offended when she passed through the living room to get
something from the kitchen. I don't remember which scene did it. There were ample opportunities.

I'll try reshuffling my NF queue so a candidate arrives just before the 5th -- just
as a backup. Sounds like there's already plenty for the projector.

ED, DM & CF. tg, my offer stands. PPFY don't be boneless. still not sure about LB.

ED, I'm thinking of bouncing this off Scott. He needs to get out more. We were trying to get together for lunch, but this is his busy season...

Still debating - What time would we make it back? I'm taking a moto safety class and I have to be ready to ride at Cabrillo on Sat @ 7:15am...

Were you thinking this was Friday, tg? Because that would so be pulling an ED.

Come to think of it, ED probably thinks it's next week, not THIS SATURDAY. We'll probably all show up on Saturday and he'll release the hounds on us...

Well, Saturday is just peachy...I can stay till the cows come home. When ED's house is full of cows, it's time to leave. Still would like to see KB. Any word from Le Roi?

If you're on FB, check out KB here:

Suburban lemmings was before I really knew KB.

KB is out. He said it was the same night as his wife's office party. So it'd be just you and me coming up the east bay, if you decide to join me.

CF is in. ED is hosting, of course. LB is teetering. PPFY is boneless.

I'm in. Shoot me an email with directions to your house. What time does the caravan leave for Maggimoto castle?

Hab ich kein "bone" mehr; muss ich viel arbeit dieses wochenende machen. Es tut mir wirchlich so scheiss leid.

TG have fun with the moto-class. I really enjoyed mine and it was a lifesaver the first year I was riding. El Dingo was quite the road-warrior in his day, too, and he was one of the inspirations for my moto-life.

Y'all have fun, now - y'hear?
In the Tudor Period, Fencing Masters were classified in the Vagrancy Laws along with Actors, Gypsys, Vagabonds, Sturdy Rogues, and the owners of performing bears.
