Caught Rebelution Soundcheck. Still pissed at those punks but it was fun to watch them in the bowl where it was only about a dizen crew.

It’s cold. I may tuck in soon. My feet are cramping already.

Well fuck. There’s a new fire Marshal that forbade any cars under the canopy so our parking plan failed and our layout had to flip. Where the hamptons were (doc’s rv, big tents, supervisor vans) and kitchen swapped with our old camp area and extra cars like darth were moved outside to behind some barricades. It was perfect until the cops ticketed them all (including darth) because the venue didn’t hand an agreement with the city. Now we need to sort parking again amidst my 3 morning meetings. So reggae…

Darth is reparked in camp. No ticket on the windshield. Looks like ticketing was sporadic. Everything is fine.

Meeting 2 down. Ended early.

Doc let me use his rv for my meeting. I propped my iPhone against an aed, but it got taken so I replaced it with docs bottle of lagavulin 16. That amused me mid-meeting.

Both meetings have been just me and the boss.

Bowl stage is live. Patrons are coming in.

Feckin noobs are singing and playing guitar, laughing drunk and loud. Pace yourselves people. 

Twas a rough start. After all the insertion bullshit, we got rocked for the last 2+ acts. Lots of calls, in every direction. The cardiac was intense - I wasn’t on that call. Franti played with some pianist subbing for bass and said his bass player was with him for 30 years. Sorry I missed that.

Tara is playing catch up - she went down early when we had our safety meeting. We got yanked out of that - there was an incident where the cart lurched in reverse into our main Med tent, knocking a patient out of his chair. Then our casualty - grand Mal seizure with no prior history. We sent him to the er because he needs some serious diagnostics. 

There was some decompression afterwards because our drama queen is making drama. She’s high maintenance

Today has gone well. Got almost all my crew in. Two outstanding. 

Caught all of Cypress hill. A good set although not great. Caught two songs from Steel pulse. 2nd was the anthem Rally round the flag and it was mediocre. We left. Ate dinner. Lasagna - so much cheese. Mmm cheese.

Now waiting for sublime. Won’t watch too much. We’ll hang near backstage like groupies and try and catch RZA.
