When I went to the dentist last week I saw a Tokyo Central at Stevens Creek and Blaney, where the Longs used to be, behind where the Elephant Bar used to be, across from where the Japanese fruit/veg place used to be (can't remember the name of that one). In the  "Merlion plaza" with the goofy statue. I want to check it out but haven't had a chance yet.

Yup. That's the place.

There used to be a discount bookstore in there that my sister worked at for a bit. I think they specialized in remainders…I think she worked there after her stint at the Games Galore in Valley Fair…I think GG was next to the knife store where The Yeti worked…Where the Doom Parker Brothers knives came from?

Around ‘85, my friend Jerry worked at the Software Etc in the B. Dalton there. He got a Mac SE and would bring home software. i’d go over to his house and write papers on it…got me started on Macs and look where I am today. He’s a hoopy frood. If we ever do a real gathering, I should invite him. I think you all would like him…
