If that's not registered with Medicare, it doesn't count. I have all that too. 

There's a process that needs to be taken care of before Medicare recognizes POA. 

I will, of course, keep you updated to my progress with this. 

I advise that you double check with Medicare.

Make sure your PoA powers aren't contingent on capacities of your mom. My mom's PoA only gave me power if she was incapacitated and when I was dealing with the SS, they wouldn't accept the PoA unless there was a doctor's note following an exam.
