I retired my incandescent bulbs a few years ago (because it was getting hard to get replacement bulbs and I always break a few every year) and went LED, but they didn't blink, so this year I got  new ones. 

We have a killer lighting store right a few blocks away - all manner of lamps and bulbs. My annual pilgrimage there for new bulbs is part of my holiday ritual. I only wish I needed more lights. Now most of our outdoor string has been replaced with LEDs - just a few more to go...

Today I have two telemeets, then a visit to mom to see how she's faring after her fall last weekend. It's work & writing like usual. Stacy went up to SF this morning for a yoga class and a crown replacement (she's very attached to her dentist up there) so it's my & Yukz until I head to svale...
