I didn’t find it nearly as objectionable as KB. It was very Yorgos. Everything I’ve seen has been odd, but totally Oscar fodder now obvs, and Cannes too. I find his work satirical of art film in a way that the international awards shows don’t quite get so they see it as art, but to me it’s caricature and parody. And wow, that was a lot of Emma sex. I was warned but was still a tad shocked that she went for so much. Then again, she’s a muse of Yorgos so I get it. Ultimately I found it funny in a black humor way. Glad to have watched it just to know what the buzz was about.
