The Brass Man by Neal Asher
Ian McCormac's battles with Skellor continue, this time on the planet of Cull. Cull is also were the third part of the Dragon entity exists. Old familiar characters like Thorn and Mika appear. We meet some new AIs. There are battles. Jain technology continues to be a problem and must be destroyed. And there is the Brass Man. He is a robot that has the programming of a serial killer embedded in him.
I think Asher's books need to be shorter. There is just way too much going on in each story and I would like there to be a little less.
Two books left in the Ian McCormac arc.

As a matter of fact, my anger does keep me warm
