Nothing sadder than seeing an unattended celeb at an autograph table at a comic-con. Hasbeen alley it’s called.
I had a similar experience at ABA with Eric Idle. He was autographing Road to Mars, his poach of Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy and was being shamefully overlooked. It was great for me because he was open to chatting for a few minutes and people started coming by afterwards. He was such a gentleman, so gracious.
But back to Larry, I would’ve totally called that fangirl’s mom.
I have only vague memories of him.
