Mercury in Retrograde

Why do we never talk about Venus in retrograde since it does the same orbit thing as Mercury?

I went into my library yesterday. They took my name and phone number. They took my temperature. Then they made me avail myself of the hand sanitizer.

Every planet in our solar system retrogrades. It’s a fix that ancient astronomers developed to explain the orbital patterns going backwards because they believed everything revolves around the earth. There are astrological properties attributed to every retrograde, particularly Saturn, but none is as disruptive and notorious as mercury. I don’t know why. It’s astrology.
