Hard for me to tell, commercially, as I only get to the shop every couple of days. Deliveries here at the cave seem reliable so far.
Today was another bank day. I naively thought it could all be wrapped up in one day. Nope. 1 day to open the estate account, one day to deal with Wells Fargo accounts and tomorrow to deal with Chase. That should, I hope, wrap up the bankage.
Also, banks are back to “Bankers Hours” and closing at 4pm, which also has an effect on the process. Met up with my friend Kamilla and took a masked, socially distant walk. She gave me the last of the masks that she refitted for me. She got a chance to talk about one of those “good samaritan gone pear-shaped” deals that is stressing her out.
It involves a friend of a friend, “can you help this guy” and ends up with her filing a missing persons report on a meth-using Russian National who was mugged by his dealer and has gone off the rails, whose mom keeps calling her from Russia “no, he is good boy, he has no problem! But don’t give him money, he will buy drugs”.
So, my day is just fine.
