I was put 'under' for a procedure.

The doctor said this will take 30 minutes and then said you can go now.

That 30 minutes was nothing.

I base my meaning of 'Death' to that.

I've been put under several times for teeth extractions and had that same lack of awareness that time had passed. Very disorienting. I'm hoping death is more like propophol - just delicious, dreamless sleep. I'm hoping it's not sleep paralysis, where you're awake but can't move and terrified by the demon that's holding you down. Fortunately that doesn't happen to me very often!

Woke with Beethoven's #7 in my head

That's a good one to have in your head. Much better than some of the earworms I've been stuck with lately. And I like you all enough not to mention the titles and jam them into your brains. (Actually, I would if it would get it out of mine, but it just doesn't work that way, damn it!)
