Time to crush those silly, silly dreams. Get him an epee.
Irony: I make my $ through my sport. Dollars, tens and tens of dollars!

Is he any good? How is his performance on school teams?

I make my $ through writing about my sport. Well, it’s not really a sport. We’d have a real NGB if it was. And I make tens and tens too. I’m rollin in the Hamiltons.
Today I have two YMAA meetings then up to TC for an overdue face2face, then check in on mom (I have to tell her about Aunty Mildred passing - I did tell her about Greg’s mom who she knew peripherally through a mutual friend, but she couldn’t remember her). Then to spend the night in svale. Might try to make it to Love Hurts tonight. Gotta support Daniel. I was thinking of going back to that Sunnyvale theater…

That Sunnyvale theatre? Does the MQ6 still exist?

If only. That would be so weird to go back to MQ6. Last I checked, the building still stood empty, but that was years ago.
No, there's a new AMC IMAX complex in downtown Svale, which has been redeveloped to be one of those apartment/shopping district communities. I went there twice last week, once for Creation of the Gods 2, and again for a Lam Kwoon lunch reunion where I saw CF&LCF (I gave CF strict instructions to tune back into D00M here because we miss him). I like the theater - easy parking, bot driven ticket vending machines, a bar, a restaurant (it's literally called 'dine in' but there are a few good restaurants in walking distance) - I may shift gears and see Ne Zha 2 tonight, depending if my Den editor accepts the pitch I made just now. Ne Zha 2 just broke $1B, the biggest PRC film ever, so big NYT did a piece on it this morning. And as y'all know (or would know if you read my drivelling reviews here), I know a lot about Nezha. I could whip that piece out in one sitting.

MQ6 building was torn down a while ago. Not sure if they've built anything there yet.
I work in the arts and also make tens of dollars.

Im going to the Svale AMC tonight for the Becoming Zep movie. I'm in the low tier AMC club and they discount some shows on Tuesdays, including this one which is nice because it's a limited release (just yesterday and today in South Bay, I think)

Texted ya, tg. Perhaps we can have a pre-full-moon gathering before our respective shows...

Finish the goddamn eulogy. Attend wake. Interact with people who were fast friends with my mother while nodding affirmatively.

Do you own a pair of dark sunglasses? Also, shouldn't you mask up? I hear there's a flu going around.

Tried to sleep in this morning because it's my only chance to do so this week. Lay in bed for and extra hour plus keeping my eyes shut. Now my vision is blurry.
Today I'm working from my mom's house - some graphic builds and some writing. I was staring at a blank page for several hours last night but the muse wasn't answering my calls. I'll hit the the market formerly known as Marukai for lunch & supplies, then pay my respects at the wake, then dart over the mountains back home, hopefully before the storm hits.

Finally, I am done with the eulogy. That wasn't a pain in the ass at all.
