I know, I know. This is premature retrogradation. But things have been going awry making me think that this one will be particularly bad. It starts on Monday but I'm ahead of the game.

Had a few schedule issues, mostly with telemeetings. More impactful is that China Cats changed its venue for Saturday from the Vets Hall (a short stumble from our bungalow) to Henflings (10 miles of mountain road away in Felton). Been looking forward to that show for two weeks and now I'm thinking I'll bail. The proximity was the major appeal.

Yuki found a big bone on his walk yesterday. Stacy could not pry it from him. He goes all dark Yuki when there's food resources to protect. Of course, he got sick last night and barfed all over our freshly cleaned carpet. We had it professionally cleaned last week. Living with dogs, man...

Just lost power. I have a backup power unit that gives me a 20 min safety net. But my work was online and an outage kills my internet connection. If it doesn’t come back in time, I just lost a few hours of work.
