I’m always reminded of ED’s tale of when his dog killed his bunny and he was rushing to clean up the blood before his wife came home. Yes, we all know how that goes.
There’s no yoga tomorrow because our teacher is in Ny. She’s offered a zoom class but we’re not into it. Stacy works most of the day. I’ll work too, need to tend to some KFM business. I’ll probably drink more Irish whiskey today in honor. Had a tall shot of my redbreast 12 just before going to bed. Wasn’t enough to put me down with my neighbors blackout beeping appliance, plus I took a nap on Saturday after KF & an epson salt bath.

Had to call the plumber for the same backup issue we had two weeks ago on the main drain line. This guy was better and opened the city cleanout by the street, and saw the blockage was in the city part of the pipe, so if it happens again we can get the city to snake it for free, although I wonder how long you have to wait for them to do it. I'll call them tomorrow to see if they will come out and camera the pipe. Only $277 for a Sunday call, so not too bad. I'm bummed because I just got the garage all dried out and was starting to put things back in place.
I think the problem may have been caused by the toilet paper we got from Costco. Some paper out floated up out of the line and the plumber said it was heavy like wipes, but we don't use wipes.
I'm working on a couple of paintings in the house today, which is frowned upon by Christina, but she is at work and I haven't been able to paint in the garage.

Slept late (Sunday tradition) texting with H, looking at fencing results, ordering more coffee gear that I do not need, then do a chore or three and go for a walk.
Eventually will end up at a showing of Dune.
In the Tudor Period, Fencing Masters were classified in the Vagrancy Laws along with Actors, Gypsys, Vagabonds, Sturdy Rogues, and the owners of performing bears.

Made brown bread and scones. Cut some grass. Tonight it will be corned beef and The Quiet Man.

Went under the house to check that there were no leaks down there. I did find a tiny leak on the feed line to the bathroom. It seems to be dripping only a few drops a day; the ground was barely wet. But since I don't have a torch and don't know how to braze, we'll have to call the plumber. At least it's not urgent.
Take out burritos from Luna for dinner. So tasty.

SKUNK!
Woke this morning wondering if dm sealed his stash well. But no, twas a skunking. Stacy witnessed it. A dog passing by triggered a skunk in our front yard that sprayed our veranda. Yuki was inside, got a whiff and backed away from the door. Hopefully his previous skunking served to teach him not to mess with skunks.
No breaks on the veranda today...
Today I have two telemeets and then downtown to little Kaiser for a booster shot of something. I plan to treat myself to lunch downtown, maybe Poki bowl. Then more Star Wars tonight.

Yeah, from past knowledge previous skunkings do not deter future skunkings.

That's only for country dogs that eat fences.
Jingles wisened up after being skunked. Yuki seems to have too, based on his behavior this morning.

Maeve did. She loved to bring in slats from the fence between us and the neighbors property.

I'm on emergency contact day for my mother. Eldest sister is on her way to Europe and middle sister is on her way back from Columbus. Maybe I'll just disconnect my phone.

Just about to step into a telemeeting. Telemeetings are the worst and best things to come out of the pandemic.
Then it's business as usual for a Tuesday.
