Now this feels like an event.
Yuki is freaking out. He wanted to get let out - I thought he might have to pee so I let him out. No, he just wanted to sit and watch the storm.
My aches have consolidated to my collarbones. Wtf? Stacy just rolls her eyes at my weird afflictions. She’ll probably do that at my deathbed. Maybe it was poor posture from being in bed all day but the are ridiculously painful. Taking acetaminophen, white flower oil and lying on a pranayama bolster. Feeling tired of being ill, but apart from these intense collarbone aches and still pooping in firehouse-like spurts, I’m improving. What a waste of a weekend.
All I have to do today is heal, finish House of Ninjas, cut some pills and take Yuki for walkies in the rain.

Already took the hell hounds out at 5am. So much rain. And wind.
I keep looking out and thinking about taking the girls out for one more walk so they can get their run in. The rain says no.
We all roll our eyes at you.
As a matter of fact, my anger does keep me warm

Fair.
Imagine what it’s like living with me though. Here’s to the D00M spouses & partners! We’be all been so blessed.
Been looking into norovirus since PPFY mentioned it. It’s possibly but I only vomited once and it was just a tiny bit. I might go with that anyway because it sounds more intense that a weird flu.
Damn my collarbones ache. Wtaf!?!

Damn
That wind!
Yuki is terrified and fascinated by the wind. He listens, sniffs, jumps, runs & barks at it. He’s driving me nuts.
My collarbone issue has subsided with much time spent on the pranayama bolster, copious white flower oil and 1 acetominiphine. I’ve managed to eat a small bowl of noodle soup - 1st significant meal I’ve had in 2+ days. I cut my pills.
Today is going swimmingly.

You should have enough water for your swimming.

I’m worried for our bougainvillea which is tipping severely from the winds (my fav tree in our yard), and of course, my mom’s fence which I won’t see until Tuesday.
I’m feeling much better. Stomach seems settled. No aches. Head is clear (at least as clear as it ever gets). Yet to have a solid stool, but at least I’m not trotting to spurt every hour or so. What a fucking waste of a weekend.
When it rains…
Right now, I’ll be grateful for a decent night’s sleep. Haven’t slept well since Thursday.
I’m thinking I’m going to say it was norovirus. That just sounds cooler than a weird flu.
P.s. I was trying to be sarcastic about swimming.

Of course, having slept all weekend, now I’m quite awake.
Shittingly indeed.

I’m on jury duty call starting today. I’ve let my employers know. I could take it off from YMAA but then it would be hard to explain later if I do get summoned. I check in online after 5 everyday until I’m dismissed. Wednesday is the only stressor because I’ll head over to svale tomorrow afternoon and if i get summoned that night, I’ll have to get back early. That and the potential ninja interviews could get jammed up.
Then there’s that sauna to build.
Still wide awake and we’re out of night cheese. Mondays…

Jury duty but I don’t go in until midday. Might treat myself to seabreeze cafe or at least verve first. Then over to svale.
An electrician is coming to wire up the sauna.

Seabreeze was great and I bumped into Stacy & Yuki there. They were headed over after a beach walk. Yuki sin't good at restaurants if there are other dogs. Fortunately there weren't any others eating outside.
Today I must finish tidying up here in svale, then head back to the Cruz before the rain hits. Then work, then dog walk (our usual walkers needed to cancel). Then another Boyle flick. Might get a B12. Stacy is pushing me to get one.
Our new washing machine gets delivered today.

I was wondering about that as I rode through temps in the high 40's near the beach at noon. G-Man, are you fighting cave-bears and glaciers?

More like Yetis...
It dumped rain when our washer was delivered. We've gone through about a washer every other year here because our washer unit is somewhat outside (It's covered, and now we've added partial walls, but they are exposed to the corrosive sea air, plus some of those washers were used to be fair). Our last washer died because the computer control panel got fried, probably due to wetness.
About 10 minutes after our new washer was installed, it cleared up. Then the movers had some sort of car accident while leaving.
Took Yuki to the beach under blue sky. As soon as we stepped on the sand, it started raining. Fortunately it stopped soon after but I was like 'srsly?' There's a massive tree down at Blacks Beach - it took out some major branches of its neighboring trees.
Been a wet day. I'm ready for dry.
