1021:338 - skipped a few days for TCEC < http://www.brotherhoodofdoom.com/doomFor...p?tid=7287

Today is mostly about recovering from the weekend and getting back on track with my regular work. Stacy and Tara are in Tassajara this week so it's just me and Yukz. We're gonna do boy things like play poker, eat nachos and smoke cigars. I should probably do laundry today...

1022:339: I have an early morning telemeet - our April review. I had the worst month that I’ve ever had in crm sales. Then I should take Yuki on a walk to verve. Stacy says he likes that because they give him treats and I’ll need the caffeine. Then I interview Marko Zaror - a 20 min zoom. Then dogprkn. All the while, I’ll be thinking of Ireland.

1025:342: work telemeet, virtual press junket for abc, zoom meet with a documentary filmmaker. Stacy & Tara come home tonight I think, maybe this afternoon, and I should vacuum. Already cleaned the bathroom & kitchen, buried the bodies and disposed of the evidence… I hope.

This bachelor week flew by. I envisioned catching up on my work but failed miserably. Need to work the weekend. Need a break.

In SF for my nephew's wedding, 11 am at City Hall. Then a lunch at 1:30. My sister-in-law asked what we would do in the time between, and I said that the Asian Art Museum was right there. Her reply was "I'm not going to a museum!" I figured it was a long shot but worth a try.

No idea what's after the lunch. No doubt something with the family. The reception isn't until tomorrow night. Probably something with Christina's family. Maybe I'll get some free time tomorrow but I doubt it.

Since my mother-in-law and sister-in-law are here, we're staying in SF with them. We've got an AirBnB near City College. (We picked over there because the reception is at the Sunnyside Conservatory, about 7 blocks away.)

Wedding was nice, although personally I wouldn't recommend city hall. Lunch was at Original Joe's in North Beach, in a private room with nice Art Deco (ish?) reliefs on the wall. Chicken picatta was quite tasty. Back to the rental to rest. So much driving across town, and traffic has gotten so much worse over the years.

Looks like I'll have a little free time around noon tomorrow, and I found a used bookstore not too far away - Bird & Beckett. Then prep for the reception.

I'm going to bed early. I didn't sleep well last night; the pillow were terrible.

Bird & Becket might have some Jazz going, too. OJ's in North Beach is pretty decent. You all staying Saturday night?

Yes, Saturday is the reception. The two day wedding extravanganza is a bit much for me. Then to San Mateo for brunch on Sunday, which I would much rather skip. Are you around tomorrow? I doubt I'd have time to meet up, but might be able to carve out some time.

I wore a tie - bow tie - for the first time in years. I think my last was my other nephew's wedding 8 years ago. But now I've nailed tying the bow.

Cool! I rocked one of my Jerry Garcia ties at TCEC. First time I've donned I tie since the pandemic I think. I never learned how to do a bow tie, but I don't think I could carry that off. Plus I have like two dozen Jerry ties and I almost never wear a tie.

On those rare occasions I have to tie a tie, I have to look up a youtube video.

King (Dr.) Bob, I’m in my shop from 12-5 tomorrow out in the Sunset District (not far from SF State). No teaching after that. I usually don’t hook up with H until 8:30/9:00pm. Like you, I doubt youll have free time, but just in case: My phone is 4155956675. Texting is a good way to get ahold of me.

Wore a tie to dinner for the last night in Limerick. It was my book of Kells tie.

3 D00M Bros in ties in the same week?
That's gotta be a harbinger of the apocalypse.
