Does CF know something about KB we don't?

He's just being the FNG...
...or maybe the JAFO... ...gosh, I don't even remember now...

Dammit. My eyes only read as far as "happy," and I filled in the phrase.
Sorry, KB. I gotta subtract a year now. Meanwhile, Happy anniversary!

Well thank you. I enjoyed an extra birthday there for a while. I should have gotten cake.

WFH as usual... our inclusion & diversity group, along with the AsianPacific group did a "Fireside Chat w/John Cho" where he discussed his new book: "Troublemaker" about a 12-year old Korean-American boy in the middle of the Rodney King LA Riots.
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5834...oublemaker Sadly, I had another meeting that was moved and ended up conflicting with this one, so I was listening to each meeting in a different ear which got confusing at times. He spoke on video call from his kitchen in LA. He's very well spoken, and seems very approachable. I think he still had some product in his har from Cowboy Bebop as a tuft was sticking straight up on the side of his head. We were asked to submit questions via chat for the Q&A sessions. Most were just calling out where they were watching from, saying "Hi", quoting White Castle, etc. Since the topic went to some of his old roles, I asked if he'd ever seen a Season 2 script for the series FlashForward which I enjoyed, but it was canceled before the story resolved. Lots of people chimed in that they loved that series. The moderator never asked any of the submitted questions, but it was a good chat anyway. Some portion of the attendees will get a free copy of his book. I'm not sure whether I get one or not. --tg

Boy, do I know. Nothing makes me feel old like TikTok. I got an account for a silly promo for immortal and have been trying to get the hang of it for over a year now in hopes of figuring out how to market there. Tara gets it and often comments about stuff she’s learned or celebs she knows from TT, but it’s too fast and crass for me. So many fart jokes, rude pranks, bouncing boobs and twerking. Some of it is really clever, and it can be such a time sink, but it’s the biggest rabbit hole of social media now. Every once in a while, I’ll give it a peek and I usually come away with that wtf feeling.
Anyone else here on TT? 725: Kung Fu, dog park, maybe write a bit. Den wants me to do a piece of the fight choreo for EEAAO, and I’m waiting on replies from the choreographers. I should get some sleep. Popped awake at 3am and have been staring at my phone here. My sleep patterns are still erratic after the time change. I ate really well yesterday. Stacy has recovered from her illness (we’re thinking it was really bad food poisoning) and splurged on lunch and dinner - Palomar nachos and Mobo sushi.

I am not on TT. Much like streaming services, I don't need another Social Media feed. But I do appreciate that people post their favorites over on the Bird site. That's curation enough.

Well good.
The last thing I’d want to see is any of you twerking on TT. The mental image alone is disturbing enough.
