530: Yesterday’s journey to get here began at 12:30 and put me here at 4:20 on the nose. It’s an amazing space and so good to see everyone. Syl shared a harrowing story of her mother’s passing last nov. She’s blonde now. Lucy the dog luvs me. 

Today I head back home - not too early but I want to be back by early afternoon. I don’t know how I’ll get around beach traffic. I’ve got some work that needs my attention. Stacy is taking Tara to Tosca SF opera. I’ll take Yuki to the dog park.

531: Today I’m spearheading a Zoom interview with one of our ymaa authors first thing. Then it’s the usual workload then over to my mom’s later because this week is nuts.

I did see that movie, and it's bad. Not quite funny bad unfortunately. They did shoot a little bit in the house, so that was fun to see. It's more about the male character than her. After seeing it I was a bit surprised they got Helen Mirren to do it.

I heard it was bad and I’ve lost touch with the horror genre. I used to love it so. Now I see enough horror in my everyday life so it’s not escapist for me. As for Helen, she’s part of the Fast & Furious franchise (and she’s great in it, just like Charlize) so Winchester is not that great a leap. She’s so prolific that she’s bound to deliver some mediocre fare. Did you ever see her SNL appearance where Kate wanted to hold her magic breasts? That was ... stimulating... the best SNL breast skit since Jane Curtin fore open her blouse on weekend update or Katy Perry wore that Elmo shirt. (Note that I should be asleep so my memory of these sketches might be distorted).

532: I have a meeting with YMAA’s Facebook rep, which might be dumb because they will want to sell me stuff and I don’t oversee the paid ads, just the posting of organic ads. 

Then later I have another YMAA meeting for our CRM transfer. Not sure how that might go because I’m on my laptop and this meeting often requires me to be on my phat Mac with the double screens to see everything. That’s spoiled me plus my vision is getting worse. I need to go in for my diabetes vision check soon, plus my blood draw... 

Then over to Shoreline for Phish. As much as I disdain phishheads, I’m looking forward to seeing sla again. That venue has been my local for 34 years now. Crazy right? So many shows...

And are you getting you eyes checked because you’re part of the DOOM diabetes club? I thought that was just us bear brothers. I’m told exceed masturbation will make you go blind too. 

Threads gotta interweave to form our tapestry of DOOM (or in our case, just a soiled bedsheet).

Man, I did NOT get enough sleep last night. For no reason either - just my stupid circadian rhythm was off beat...

535: Today starts with an early ymaa telemeet followed immediately by a radio pre-interview call. Then I take Stacy to SF for her root canal. We’ll stop by Tara’s - Stacy has some of Tara’s furniture staged by the door. Yuki will ride along too.
