302: YMAA call & tasks plus KFM report. My Den queue is clear for the moment, although I have a screener to watch. I got to wrassle with some EDD issues again. Man, I cannot wait until I can get off EDD.

Should I delete it so you can redo it?
As a matter of fact, my anger does keep me warm

I'm torn between making a premature ED joke or a parler joke reply.

A heads up on 1099-MISC this year.  Box 7 (non-employee compensation) is usually where your money is listed.  But in turbotax, Box 7 has a big fat NA (not applicable) beside it and won't let you enter the amount.

Took me some searches to track down what's going on.  It turns out that non-employee compensation is no longer on 1099-MISC.  You'll get a new form 1099-NEC that has it.

Not that I've gotten my 1099s.  I was just fudging numbers into Tubotax to get an idea of where we stand, and got blind-sided by this.
I'm nobody's pony.

Or just paying your quarterly, like I did?

Not even. But given how insane our taxes will be this year, we're starting early. Stacy is always good about getting things to our accounted asap. And we do my mom's taxes too, which is annoying because my dad spread out all of their money across tons of accounts as some sort of protection strategy and she refuses to consolidate them.

I had that multiple account problem with my mom, and only could consolidate after she gave up trying to do anything. There is one still out there that I am trying to close, but it takes an affadavit, and our lawyer is super busy doing wills and trusts.
