Thanks Greg. Thanks for that. But it's karma. One of my Kung Fu nephews just had a baby. I told him that I started sleeping through the night after my kid moved out. That's actually not true. I don't really sleep through the night that often as you well know from this here thread.

But it's Friday afternoon now. TGIF? Heck, I don't even remember what Friday means anymore after 100+ days of pandemic.

So now, it's another NCw/Y. I'm having a snack. Yuki just woke because I was in the kitchen snack making. But now he's under the cabinet. He likes to tuck into narrow burrows. He's not quite awake. I'm going to take him for walkies next.

I just finished texting with Mulan. We were discussing the passing of Sifu Li among other things. Her best line was 'Florida wins in being assholes so we are keeping it safe here'. She's based near Orlando.

Hazel is just about to turn 17. I don't think she's barked in the last year. She used to wake me up to take her out during the night, but now she won't, so we cover a big chunk of the floor with pee pads at night and usually she makes it. Sometimes I wake up at the right time and can take her out. She sleeps most of the time. On the other hand, she's just about totally deaf so 4th of July was no problem. But she still has a good appetite and enjoys pushing around her blankets with her snout, and occasionally even plays with us a little.

In the north chamber but Yuki is outside working on a chew stick. I'm prepping for my webinar. Just watched my previous webinar. It came off better than I though actually, which is encouraging. I've had a nice cup of c-brite Verve with oat milk and the caffeine is taking hold to babble at my laptop for an hour+.

In the Tudor Period, Fencing Masters were classified in the Vagrancy Laws along with Actors, Gypsys, Vagabonds, Sturdy Rogues, and the owners of performing bears.

North Chamber. Yuki & I just returned from walkies, which were short because it's hot so he was basically only moving from shady spot to shady spot. We only went past a few next door houses before he bailed, then we sat on the veranda for a bit. We came in and he took some of his toys and went outside.

It's been a gorgeous summer here. Blue skies, sunny daze, cool breezes. Perfect weather really. Such a shame that such loveliness is wasted on 2020.

At my mom's, listening to Ellen. I dropped off a lot of weapons that I took out of storage for my last two webinars and skipped going to TC today because I realized I split the pair of Wushu hooks, leaving on half here. So I'll do that tomorrow. I'll run a grocery errand, pick up dinner, and prep for tomorrow.

On the veranda with Yuki. He just cleaned off the remnants of my cheese sammich plate.

Stacy decided to move a lot of furniture to build my ‘office’. The bungalow is in chaos. It’s so small that furniture moves are advanced Tetris. But it’s not like I have anything else to do, aside from juggling my five jobs and puppy training.

NCw/Y. The North Chamber has been completely remodeled as an office space/video room. I've been working all day, chipping at FBU & Immortal stuff. Feels good to be working like this again.

I met the new neighbor moving into the granny flat at the end of the lot. He's older and seems very courteous but they all do at first. He's a friend of the neighbor in the other granny flat. He also has two older dogs, so we plan to wall off the entire back yard, even more significantly than I had done before for Jingles. Our other neighbor agrees because it'll secure his area too. The new neighbor's sister came by too. She works at the Cruz animal shelter. Both of them are dog people and were taken by Yuki's cuteness, which as a puppy, is simply irresistible.

NCw/Y. Yuki is napping. I'm doing laundry and listening in on some live Q&A online sessions with FBU. Not really new info for me but it's one of those 'show face' kind of things. Fortunately, they all know I'm just being a fly on the wall, so I can leave my camera and mic off.

At mom's overhearing Ellen. Been an oddly busy day with work chores - still have a few more before the day is done. Working so hard for so little money. Got a few errands from my mom - post office, drug store, dinner.

I must find a book of mine from the office buried in my boxes of books stored here. I had 4 bookshelves of reference books at the office. I packed them hurriedly, not sorted very well.

I got a chore done. Well, sort of.

I'm thinking of getting in line for Hall H to see Bill & Ted.
