hey, the forum clock is off. I posted those around 4:20am, not 6:20am.

I'd post here more often at that time but looking at my iPhone tends to wake me up completely. Usually I try to get back to sleep. Only when I find myself wide awake do I post here then.

You've always posted from a different time. Don't blame it on the forum clock.

You know what is helping me get a solid twelve hours of sleep? Stomach flu! Good times.
As a matter of fact, my anger does keep me warm

I think my time is off by an hour (I'm going to hit the "Post" button right now, at 12:42 am).
There's no date and time or time zone setting under User CP.

I think the admin needs to fix the time for all users.  Not that there's any urgency, considering you're in effin' Hungary with the stomach flu.

Here's something I found on the Web about MyBB:

Quote:In addition to changing the time zone in the admincp, you also have to change it in the usercp.

The change in the admincp will only apply to the new users registering from that point on, and guests. For already registered users (including the admin) you have to also update your timezone in the usercp.
Another note lifted from the web:

Quote:MyBB will not update individual user's timezones. Only future users will be changed to the new timezone. You'll need to update each user manually or run a script that changes them all.
Again, no big deal.  Get well.
I'm nobody's pony.

True.  I have come unstuck in time.

Sorry to hear about the stomach flu.  Too much goulash? Hope you're feeling better soon.

4:20 pm and I'm lying in me bed in the afternoon sun with a cool ocean breeze coming through the window. Think I'll take a nap.

The nausea plus the heat plus the brain going a hundred miles an hour over the movie makes for a winsome stay awake cocktail.

Yikes! Did you have the same Hungaloo infection-thing that felled Haggis-Killer?
In the Tudor Period, Fencing Masters were classified in the Vagrancy Laws along with Actors, Gypsys, Vagabonds, Sturdy Rogues, and the owners of performing bears.

Blame it on the Lipitor. Weird drug.

Lipitor is for Cholesterol not diabetes. I think all your health claims are a sham!

I know, I know, but with the high BP and the history of cardiac issues in my family, plus now diabetes, my doc put me on Lipitor.  It's messed up.  Kept me up the past few nights.  I have to go in for a liver check to see if it's taking in a few weeks.  Ultimately, I'm not sure it's the right call for me.

Tomorrow, I go in for a skin cancer check.

DM - you may know that the thresholds for high values for BP and Cholesterol (and maybe also blood sugar, I can't remember) were lowered by the AMA in the last few years, and they created millions of new patients/drug customers by doing so.

You might want to take a look at the book Overdiagnosed by H. Gilbert Welch which discusses this at length. It might help you decide on your treatment plan.

You know, it's kind of funny. I have a terrible history with Rx. I often have horrible reactions to prescribed meds. But I can't resist trying them. When an MD says its legal for me to have a controlled substance, I just gotta give it a try. It usually ends badly, but there's often some psychotropic adventure along the way.
