We're a few episodes in. The pilot introduces us to the main character, Charlie (Natasha Lyonne from Russian Doll), who has the super power of being able to sense when someone is lying. Thru some blackmailing, she ends up having to help a shady casino owner cheat a big fish. People die, she figures it out with the help of her super power and is now of the run from the shady casino owner.
Each new episode starts with a murder. Then she happens upon the town, finds out about the murder and then solves it and leaves for the next town. It's a bit weak and predictable on one level and the more I watch it, the more I think this is just a remake of Columbo, with Natasha doing her best Peter Falk.
No explanation about where this super power came from and the large story arc seems forgotten most of the time. Charlie's epiphanies seem tenuous at times. But, I still watch an episode every now and then, so not really recommended, but there's a lot worse content out there.
