Saw Smash Mouth at the boardwalk in 2015 http://www.brotherhoodofdoom.com/doomFor...9#pid21429

I imagine tg might have more to say.

I just saw the news that he was in hospice about an hour ago with liver issues. My understanding is that he's a bit of an a$$hole. Greg Camp (who was in a couple of First Strike bands when Number Nine was the cool thing) wrote most of the material, but left the band over "differences". I saw that some iteration on Smashmouth, with a different lineup was playing the county fair circuit a few years ago. There's a clip of Steve ranting at the audience. Seemed like a Trump rally kind of thing.

I'm not a big fan, but it was nice to see some locals make it...

Apparently he became a big drunk - which was not mentioned on the news, naturally. I remember they also fired their drummer because he was an asshole. I did like "Walking on the Sun." I once heard a remix that made it less of a 60s garage rock throwback, and it was even better.

I saw a bunch of pro LGBT & pro Trans tweets he did. So that's good.
In the Tudor Period, Fencing Masters were classified in the Vagrancy Laws along with Actors, Gypsys, Vagabonds, Sturdy Rogues, and the owners of performing bears.

We are deeply saddened by the news of Smash Mouth lead singer Steve Harwell’s passing. He entertained millions of people around the world, including at the Boardwalk, where he performed on the beach bandstand from 2014-2019. Steve's music always made people smile, and he will forever be remembered as a true all-star. ??✨?
