Subtitle on this is "Why Something We Never Evolved to Do Is Healthy and Rewarding" but it was too long for the subject box. This guy is an anthropologist, so he looks at exercise from that angle, along with modern health studies and evolutionary data. A lot of it was pretty interesting, particularly the evolutionary angle, but it was ultimately too much of a good thing, and I got tired of it by the end and started skimming. No real surprises. Extremely well footnoted, so a good source for further exploration of many topics. Recommended if you like reading that sort of thing, but I would get it from the library (as I did) rather than buying it - it's $30 for the hardcover!
