Very enjoyable. It's light and funny with plenty of Fury, the way I prefer the MCU. It's akin to how lite & funny Ant-Man followed the downer of Infinity War. Another lite&fun bug-man follows the bummr of Endgame. Mysterio is a good addition, especially in our culture of fake news. Zendaya is really working for me - kind of like how I watched Miley grow up, same goes for Zendaya. She too started as a Disney star in Shake It Up, probably the last of those sorts of shows that Tara and I watched until she grew out of it (I don't think I ever did but I miss her watching them alone - plus it's weird). Her neck has grown so long. Angourie Rice stood out too, mostly because she was just in that Miley Black Mirror ep. But back to Spidey, Holland had solid comic timing. I miss the Stan Lee cameo more than Iron Man. And the end of credits scene is well worth the wait. And the trailer is deceptive - there's a scene that didn't make the cut I saw, some of the lines are changed, and a black eye is digitally removed. That's false advertising, right? Anyway thumbs up. Fun flick. Could've used a sword fight but we'll settle for gratuitous morning star and halberd.

I'm thinking this is one of the better spideys, might even be better than Holland's first outing in Homecoming. But I still like Spiderverse best. Now that it's netflixable, I'm trying to get Tara to watch it with me. She's resisting it, but I think she'll really enjoy it. She'll love Far From Home because she's visited some of the locations and she's a fan of Holland's spidey.
Also props to Favreau. He was charming in this.
And the end credit scenes are total game changers.

I'm a pescatarian lucifarian (see http://www.kungfumagazine.com/forum/show...ost1314414). Doesn't mean I'm forbidden from appreciating a good Spider-Ham.
Tara said she'd watch it again just to see it more clearly. I might have to do the same. It's so colorful.

Far From Home was fun. Maybe too jokey, if that's possible. It didn't have the heart at it's core as it did in Homecoming. The Villian was also better in Homecoming. Part of the probably for me was that I had too many strong hints about who the villain was going to be so I didn't get the big shocker of the reveal.
All the kids are starting to appear less kid like. That's the problem where the reality of the movie timeline is going much slower that the outside world and you have years between films.
They went to a lot of great locations, which I enjoy. I think they went to the Czech Republic because the Czech Republic gave them a lot of money. I did like the interactions between the teacher/chaperones.
All in all, it was fun and will get better once I watch it a million times on cable.

I liked his experience with the Dutch. It’s pretty accurate.
In the Tudor Period, Fencing Masters were classified in the Vagrancy Laws along with Actors, Gypsys, Vagabonds, Sturdy Rogues, and the owners of performing bears.

I've been biting my lip over the tingle thang here. Especially after my spider bite. I could've made good use of that line several times over already.

If your tingle lasts for more than 4 hours, please consult a doctor.
