E8 the Medusa Zero gets corporal. I like Zero. It’s a throwback to ST: TOS - the Medusa was kept in a box then but now in ST: Pro it’s got a sort of bot suit. 

A decent ep although very predictable.

That took a sudden turn for the better. With Wesley even. How did that even happen? Most of the remaining eps are two-parters but now the TNG & V throwbacks are in full force and this has evolved into the V epilogue, the admiral’s epilogue. I’m hooked now and hankering to finish out this story. 

Thr vulcan cadet Ma’Jel (get it?) is the best character.

Binged 5 eps because it’s getting good
13: giant Rasta carnivorous tribbles!
14: my happy place - the mirror universe!
15-16: two-parter with Star Warsesque spaceship dog fights ending with everyone making major sacrifices to save everyone else. A bit heavy handed but the reunion of Janeway & Chakotay gave me the feels.
17: back to Solum for the ultimate showdown set up between Gwyn & Acensia (played villainously well by Jameela Jamil who I’ve followed since The Good Place). 

3 more eps but I’m saving those for later.

And we’re done. Not bad. It redeemed itself with the final episodes of this season.
18 was titled Touch of Grey and I was hoping for a GD crossover but they only said ‘grateful’ once.
19-20 was the 2-part finale Ouroboros and of course the timeline was set straight. I’m not sure everything gets quite back into place (time travel can be so messy) but the Crusher reunion plus the nod to Picard was solid. S3 is set up in the strangest way but perhaps it references the new series ST: SA. 

It was really the Voyager and TNG characters that made this work, plus a sun was compelling, but the rest was silly. Dal was an annoying idiot and I’m glad he stepped aside for Gwyn. I really hope they never hook up (although I’m ok with Ma’Jel & Zero even though consummation would be especially challenging). 

I’ll tune in for S3 if it happens.
