Yeah, this could be terrible.

It was exactly what was sold in the trailer, but that was a lot of stupid for one film. Every character was a cartoon. There were a number of cameos. John Cho has about 15 min of screen time as a bounty hunter.

Can't recommend this.

Saw it. Concur. More later. John Cho had a bout 15 seconds. As did Sebastian Stan and Anthony Mackie. Probably the best section of the film.

Oh, boy this was terrible. In the parlance of earlier times, it was definitely a Lucky Dog movie.

Chris Evans is Cole. Ana De Armas is Sadie. They meet at a farmer's market and end up spending the night together after a rocky start. Cole and Sadie have zero chemistry together and it never gets better. Cole is just this huge wimp who doesn't understand women and that never gets better.

Eventually Cole gets caught up in this ridiculous plot of mistaken identity and a McGuffin that everybody needs to get to avert world annihilation. Some of the action set pieces were okay but there was some bad CGI in there. The fight choreography is mediocre. It didn't help that Sadie never sold me on her being a super agent.

And then there was Adrian Brody twirling his mustache and acting his brains out as the evil weapons buyer.

The only moment where it rose above the mire was when they had the festival of cameos in Pakistan. But that faded all too quickly.

So...I'll prolly like it?
In the Tudor Period, Fencing Masters were classified in the Vagrancy Laws along with Actors, Gypsys, Vagabonds, Sturdy Rogues, and the owners of performing bears.

Well that part rings true...Cole does like his McMuffins, although not at much as his chicken sammiches...

Backstroke lover always hidin' 'neath the cover
'Till I talked to my daddy, he say
He said, "You ain't seen nothing
'Till you're down on a McMuffin
Then you're sure to be a-changin' your ways"
