How dumb am I? White House Edition

With the news that the First Dogs were spotted on the South Lawn, I chose to find out which lawn was the South Lawn. I googled it and I was led to the South Lawn. My first thought was I wasn't going to be told because of security concerns, but it popped. It also showed all the wings associated with the White House. It also highlighted some of the rooms associated with the White House. Much to my chagrin I found out that the Oval Office is located in the West Wing rather than in the main building.

Yes, I've seen the West Wing TV show. Yes, I've put the Oval Office together on multiple film sets. But I always just assumed that the Oval Office was in the main building behind those three giant windows you see from all the TV shots. Nope. It's right there in the West Wing. Dammit.

Didn't realize that either, and I've never built an Oval Office.

I'll do you one better.  I keep getting the Capital and the White House mixed up.  More accurately I sometimes amalgamate them into one.  (Needless to say, this caused me some recent confusion.)  This appalls LCF.  I'd never qualify for Jeopardy.  Never ever.

Still, I'm confident I could ace a citizenship test.

After all, I'm an American.
