The Man Who Killed Hitler and then killed the Bigfoot (Hulu)

After watching, my first reaction was that someone actually wrote this and then thought it would be a good idea to take it to the next level and bring it to screen. 

The movie opens on an empty bar with a juke box playing billy squire’s “lonely is the night”...
Sam Elliot stars as an old man in a small town, reflecting on his military past where he lost the girl he loved (played by the gal who was the 1st wife on MadMen) while overseas, killing HItler. That part just kinda happens and the. The story moves on...eventually to the present, where a couple of guys from the government (that guy who was the lead in Office Space, and and Indian actor that played the manager in the TV series “outsourced”). They tell him that Bigfoot is carrying the plague and coming down from Canada, leaving a trail of death in his wake and the need Sam Elliot to take him out. Eventually he picks his arsenal and then tracks the Bigfoot thru the forest for a poorly shot fight scene with a vomiting BF. 

In the end, this was just a hallmark movie with a catchy, truthful, but disappointing title. 

Not Doom recommended.

There's a lot of pensive emoting. there's also 1 earlier, poorly choreographed, fight seen where the star takes out some punk kids.

The (online) poster looks cool tho.
