RIP Gene Hackman 2/27/25

I always liked Mr. Hackman's work. I can't think of a clunker he was in. Found dead in his home under unknown circumstances along with his much younger wife is not the way to go out.

One of the coolest Genes. Growing up there were so few celebrities named Gene. I was inspired by him because his body of work was diverse and intriguing.  

I read a headline that said their dog was dead too. Disturbing. Awaiting more news.

I think Royal Tennenbaums may be his best. And my favorite of his.
